Welcome to Grace Harbor Covenant Church - an Evangelical Covenant Church.

Mission Statement

Grace Harbor Covenant Church, relating to Paul’s three eternal attributes of 1 Corinthians 13 view our mission as encouraging the growth of FAITH through discipleship, right preaching of the Word of God and prayer, extending the HOPE of new life in Christ through our witness in word and deed, and showing the LOVE of God through caring for those in need.

This church has been in the community of Aberdeen since 1893.

As you travel through the pages of this site, we would like to tell you about who we are:

  • We are a Biblical Church – We hold that both the Old and the New Testaments are the divinely inspired Word of God. Both our preaching and teaching reflect this belief.
  • We are a Devotional Church – Prayer is an important part of our life. We meet weekly to pray for the church and as part of our service we lift up the joys and sorrows of those who are in attendance.
  • We are Missional Church – We support many missions both here and abroad in our time and treasure
  • We are a Connectional Church – Personal relationships are very important to us. We care about each other through prayer and support. Much time is spent together in studies and fellowship groups as well as regular events where meals are shared.
We invite you to examine the “What We Believe” page, and invite you to join us in worship on Sunday morning. We offer a blended service in which we honor the past by singing favorite hymns and choruses, and enter into the present with contemporary praise music, all to the glory of God.

Please join us on Sunday at 10:30 am for services. We are located on the corner of South "H' Street and Market Street in downtown Aberdeen.

We also have the following events during the week held at the church. All are open to the public.

Adult Sunday school - Sundays at 9:30 am. We are currently studying the Reformation - Reason, People and Theology with Pastor Jim.

Women's Bible Study - Tuesdays at 10am. We are currently studying The Book of Acts. Julie Pope is leading this study.

Prayer meeting - Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Join us in prayer for the church, the neighborhood and anything else that God lays on your heart.

Men's Fellowship group - Wednesday at 10 am. The group is currently discussing weekly scripture readings.
